Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is Nectar AI?
Nectar is a service for fictional AI companion chat, roleplay and character-based media. Choose a companion or create an adult character with an original personality and greeting.
Is Nectar AI free to use?
Free access includes an account allowance. Paid plans and credits have separate conditions, so check the selected model and action price before using a paid feature.
Can I create my own AI companion?
Yes. Choose the available appearance options, then write a personality and opening message. Review the character's adult identity and visibility before completing it.
Does Nectar AI have an Android or iPhone app?
We currently provide browser access rather than a native Android or iOS app. You can add a home-screen shortcut through Chrome or Safari.
Can more than one AI character join a conversation?
Yes. Use Groups Only when browsing fantasies, or add a character through Chat Settings. Adding a character permanently changes that conversation into a group chat.
Can I generate images and video of the same companion?
Select the companion in the generator and choose Image or Video. Check the model, scene description, duration or quality and displayed cost before confirming.
Does the NSFW setting remove all restrictions?
No. It changes browsing visibility. Adult-oriented features remain for adults, and prohibited content stays restricted in chat and media generation.
What should I know about privacy?
Keep sensitive real-life details out of fictional stories. Review character visibility and the privacy policy, and use private support for account-specific requests.
How do I delete my Nectar AI account?
Request account deletion through support@nectar.ai or a private support ticket. Identify the account and review subscription renewal separately before requesting permanent removal.
Character chat, stories and media in Nectar
Choose a companion whose personality interests you, or create someone new. Your messages establish the scene; character settings and media controls let you develop it further.
Start a conversation or join a story
Companions are individual fictional characters. Fantasies add a starting situation, your role and sometimes a larger cast. Read the greeting before replying so your first message follows the scene.
Describe an action, ask about something the character has said or introduce a small decision. You can choose a short exchange or a more descriptive writing style. In a group, select a speaker when you want a particular character's reaction.
Give an original companion a voice
The creator separates appearance from character details. A personality describes how someone behaves; a greeting introduces the first encounter. A reserved archivist and an outspoken musician should have different ways of answering the same question.
Choose an adult age and write a background that gives the character something specific to discuss. Check appearance and visibility before completing the companion.
Describe the picture or movement you want
In the image generator, select the companion and describe an outfit, an action, a place and the lighting. Keep those details consistent with the character's saved appearance.
For video, begin with one clear action and review the duration and quality. Generated clips, voice messages and calls have different controls and allowances; check the selected action before confirming a charge.
Check access, costs and account settings
Nectar runs in a desktop or mobile browser. Free access gives you an allowance to try; subscriptions and credits cover different features and paid actions.
Keep billing information in private support messages and review visibility before publishing a character. For another perspective on the service, read the original external reviews and compare the plan and model each author used.
