Start with a specific moment
Choose a companion, open their details and select Start Chat. Read the greeting before replying so your message follows the situation already in place.
Change the reply, length or writing style
A chat model affects text. Keep image and video settings separate when testing a conversation.
- Regenerate asks for another version of a reply. Continue asks the companion to carry on.
- Under Chat Settings, open Writing Style and choose Short, Default or Long.
- Use Custom Instructions for an ongoing preference, such as leaving your character's dialogue for you to write.
- Open Models to compare the available options. Use the same scene when comparing them.
Which chat models can I choose?
Our documented chat choices are Nectar Basic, Orchid Lite, Fuchsia, DeepSeek V4 Flash, Primrose, Hibiscus and Orchid. Some options are in beta and may not appear in every account.
Open Chat Settings, then Models, to see the options available to you. The cards describe consistency, creativity, descriptiveness and memory; they are comparison indicators, not a guarantee that every reply will behave the same way.
Keep important details available
Open Chat Settings, then Memory. Add a custom entry for a fact that will matter later, and check the existing list before adding a conflicting version. You can mark up to ten memories as important.
Recent context is limited. A new conversation does not inherit the previous conversation's memories. Reintroduce the facts that belong in the new story.
