Roleplay with one companion or a full cast

Fantasies begin with a situation already in place. Read the premise to learn who you are, who else is there and what has just happened.

Nectar Fantasies campaign for character story scenarios

Choose a ready-made fantasy

Use Groups Only when you want several companions in the same conversation. A group fantasy can include up to ten companions.

  1. Choose Fantasies from the type selector while browsing.
  2. Use tags and styles to find the kind of scenario you want.
  3. Read the premise and cast, select Start Chat and respond to the opening.

Direct a group without losing the scene

Use Choose speaker in the message bar to select who should reply, or return to Auto. Make it clear when your character addresses someone specific.

Adding a character to an existing one-on-one conversation permanently makes it a group chat. Removing that character later does not reverse the change.

Build an original setup

Separate the cast, the location and the immediate problem. Put the reader in a position to make a choice, and make sure the greeting starts where the description says it does.

A useful beginning: two adult friends inherit a bookshop and find a locked drawer on opening day. One wants to call the previous owner; the other already has a key. Your first message can decide which lead to follow.

Questions & answers

Roleplay & group chats: questions & answers

What is the difference between a companion and a fantasy?

A companion is an individual character. A fantasy adds a scenario and your role in it, with one companion or a larger cast.

Can several AI characters reply in one chat?

Yes. Group chats let companions respond to you and to each other. You can use Auto or select a speaker.

Can I steer a scene without speaking as my character?

Use a brief out-of-character note, such as '(OOC: the scene is now in the station cafe)'. Then check that the next reply follows the change.

Will a new fantasy remember another chat?

Do not assume it will. Introduce the cast, relationships and previous events you want to use in the new story.
